Maharashtra Shikshan Sanstha has announced GR for maternity leave in its academic year 2018-2019 with a view to provide female staff members with the necessary and required rest and recuperation after childbirth. Maharashtra Shikshan Sanstha is offering ladies who have been on maternity leave since 2017-2018, an additional 30 days of break by paying their salary in advance. The lady concerned will be paid her salary during the break. The total amount of this release must not exceed Rs1 lakh, including all other benefits that may be given to her such as pension and gratuity. The lady concerned who has been on maternity leave since 2017-2018, will be given an additional 30 days of rest by paying her salary in advance. This is in accordance with the provisions of the Maternity Benefit Act, 1961. Thanks to the office of the District Collector, which has sanctioned this relief to women employees. ARTICLE END.
